Still going but is it working?

Today and yesterday I managed to drag myself through my exercise, it was hard and it was horrible. I felt weak and tired, the day before's exercise was fresh in my mind. And what's worse, I am so far away from figuring out my eating.

Usually, when I exercise alot I can eat alot and do not need to worry. But since I started this regime, I have been eating a lot and I do need to worry. I feel constantly bloated, like my food is not being digested. It is a horrible feeling. It is horrible looking, this protruding belly. I know that it is because I have been binging but some days I haven't even binged and it hasn't come right ;(

I love food so much and one of the things that I like about exercise is that it enables me to not worry about food, whether those fears are grounded or not. But it looks like I have lost that benefit and that is very sad and scary. I do not know how to deal with this now, binge eating has been part of my life for so long. I have only ever been able to manage it, I have never conquered the feelings that lead to it. ;( I hope I find a way. Addiction sucks. And this addiction is to a life force I need every day.

A new day

Don't you just love the first day of the week when it turns out how you wanted it? It's a beautiful to be able to write "Day 1" somewhere.

But of course with a new beginning comes new challenges and I have therefore added to what I am required to do strength wise. It was tough and I barely made it through but I did and now I do not have to worry about today any more because I can tick that box.

I am looking forward to seeing if I can do six days this week, as per the calender! How exciting!

Leaning very far off the wagon

So what did I learn today? One should not attempt to exercise immediately after consuming a heavy meal. Also, successful exercise one day does not give one the right to binge on everything the next. I was a poster child for these two lessons today, as I shuffled/trotted/fell through 30 minutes of very very slow exercise tonight. My belly was full and made me breathless and having binge terribly on hellish junk food the previous day, I had a throbbing headache (which I know fully well that I am prone to) that reverberated with each pitiful step.

So yes, I finished my week of workouts. Five out of seven days, I have to say not bad! It is not perfect or ideal but still, not bad. I learnt my lessons I think, lessons that a binge eater/ procrastinator should heed well: be careful with what you eat, do not eat so urgently + if your day is busy tomorrow, WAKE UP EARLY AND DO YOUR EXERCISE OTHERWISE IT IS NOT HAPPENING BROTHER.

Whew so a run six am tomorrow morning is the goal. I'm off to the Chive to get some thinspiration inspiration (I'm trying to be a healthy person now - I do not say the first).
